Customer Relationship Manager – Learning Solutions
Join a business selling into one of the biggest priorities facing organisations today
AI, technology and digital capability are changing how organisations operate, compete and grow. But transformation only works if businesses have people with the skills and capability to deliver it.
That is where QA comes in.
QA is the UK’s largest technology training provider, working with 96% of the FTSE and most Fortune 500 companies to help organisations build the AI, technology, digital and human skills they need for the future.
In the last three years alone, QA has supported more than 4,000 organisations and over one million learners.
As organisations continue to invest in AI, data, cloud, cyber security and digital transformation, the challenge is no longer simply accessing technology. It is making sure their people have the skills to use it effectively.
That creates a significant opportunity for experienced salespeople who understand how to grow customer relationships and turn learning and capability challenges into commercial opportunities.
As a Customer Relationship Manager within our Learning business, you’ll take ownership of developing and growing relationships across an established portfolio of customers.
Your role is to understand what is happening inside those organisations, identify where learning, skills and capability gaps exist, and build solutions that help customers develop their people.
You’ll work with stakeholders across Learning & Development, HR, Technology, Transformation and wider business leadership, building a detailed understanding of their priorities and identifying where QA can support them.
This is more than maintaining accounts.
You’ll be expected to challenge customers, uncover new requirements, open conversations across different parts of their organisation and grow QA’s learning footprint within the accounts you manage.
You’ll be taking learning solutions to market in areas organisations are already actively investing in, including:
It is still a target-driven B2B sales role.
You will be responsible for generating revenue, developing pipeline, progressing opportunities and consistently delivering against your commercial goals.
But you’ll be doing that with established customer relationships, a highly relevant proposition, a recognised brand and access to some of the largest organisations in the UK and globally.
You’ll take ownership of developing commercially valuable relationships across your customer portfolio by:
The strongest CRMs do more than manage existing relationships.
They understand what their customers are trying to achieve, ask the right questions, uncover the capability challenges sitting behind those priorities and build learning solutions that solve them.
A learning market with genuine momentum
The learning landscape is changing quickly.
AI adoption, digital transformation and emerging technologies are creating new skills requirements across almost every industry.
Organisations are asking increasingly important questions:
How do we prepare our people for AI?
Where are the biggest skills gaps in our organisation?
How do we keep technology skills current?
How do we reskill employees as roles change?
How do we build capability at scale?
How do we make learning relevant to our business strategy?
QA helps organisations answer those questions.
As a Customer Relationship Manager, you’ll be at the centre of those conversations.
Rather than selling a single course or product, you’ll work to understand the broader challenges within an organisation and identify the right combination of learning solutions to support them.
That could mean developing capability across an entire technology function, creating targeted learning programmes for specific teams, supporting an AI transformation programme or helping an organisation build critical skills in areas such as data, cloud or cyber security.
With QA already supporting some of the world’s largest organisations, you’ll have a strong platform from which to grow those relationships.
We’ll invest in your development too
QA is a learning business, so development is not just something we sell to customers.
You’ll be expected to bring commercial drive, curiosity and ownership.
QA will give you the environment, expertise and tools to keep developing.
Who tends to do well here?
We’re looking for people who are:
You’ll already have experience in B2B sales, account management, business development or another consultative commercial environment.
Ideally, you’ll have experience selling learning, training, professional services, technology solutions or another solution-led proposition where understanding the customer challenge is critical to making the sale.
Experience within corporate learning, training or Learning & Development would be particularly relevant.
You should be able to demonstrate a track record of achieving sales targets, developing customer relationships and growing existing accounts.
You do not need to arrive knowing every QA solution.
What matters is that you know how to sell consultatively, can build credible relationships with customers and are genuinely interested in understanding how learning and skills development can support an organisation’s wider business objectives.
If you enjoy developing customer relationships, uncovering opportunities and helping organisations solve learning and capability challenges, this is an opportunity to do that in a market with significant momentum.
You’ll have access to an established customer base, a broad portfolio of learning solutions and conversations that increasingly sit at the heart of organisations’ transformation strategies.
You’ll be joining a team where performance matters, development is taken seriously and you’ll have real ownership of growing the customers you work with.
