  • Engagement Coordinator
    South East of England - Home Based/Travel onsite
    SC Clearance required
     
    About the Role: 

    The Engagement Coordinator provides structured administrative, operational, and logistical support to ensure smooth delivery of education, skills, or community programmes. They support project planning, communications, event coordination, and reporting, ensuring delivery aligns to milestones, KPIs and quality standards. This role suits someone who is detail‑focused, highly organised, and confident working with multiple stakeholders. 

    Please note that all applicants for this role must be willing to go through SC Clearance.
    This is a home-based role, however the successful candidate will be required to travel across the South East of England, so candidates must be willing and able to travel as part of the role.
     
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Support day‑to‑day delivery, scheduling and logistics across schools, partners and internal teams.
    • Manage calendars, meetings, documentation and reporting.
    • Act as the first point of contact for schools, teachers and partners.
    • Provide clear guidance, resolve queries and escalate issues where needed.
    • Coordinate workshops, webinars, training sessions and school events.
    • Support assessment centres — scheduling assessors, managing submissions and preparing materials.
    • Handle event comms, attendee lists, and on‑the‑day support; collect feedback and data.
    • Track engagement activity and KPIs.
    • Maintain accurate data, dashboards and reporting templates.
    • Draft updates and guidance for teachers, leaders and partners.
    • Support newsletters, promotional content and follow‑up communication.
    • Ensure safeguarding, data‑protection and accessibility processes are followed.
    • Manage consent, data handling and risk‑assessment tasks.

    Experience:

    Essential

    • Experience in project coordination, administration, or programme support roles.
    • Strong organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
    • Confident using digital tools, spreadsheets, CRM systems, and data‑tracking platforms.
    • Ability to work to KPIs, deadlines and structured reporting cycles.
    • Problem‑solving mindset and proactive approach to tasks.
    Desirable
    • Experience supporting education, youth engagement, or community programmes.
    • Understanding of event management and coordination.
    • Familiarity with safeguarding, data protection or working with young people.
